‘Revelations: Paintings in Reverse by Bobbi Van' at Sidle House Gallery

Sidle House Gallery presents: ‘Revelations: Painting in Reverse,’ in the Studio gallery - Maine’s introduction to Mexico and New York-based artist Bobbi Van. Through her paintings in reverse on transparent surfaces, Van explores “the spaces in between sound and silence, thought and action, arrival and departure, movement and stillness.” Art critic Siba Kumar Das wrote, “In giving voice to her feelings and ideas, Van creates paintings that signify their presence through sheer expressiveness.
